You find at 810 m. above sea level in the heart of the Appennino Modenese in front of Monte Cimone. In this area various castles and ancient churches can be visited. There are also signalled naturalistic tracks as well as natural beauties and ancient medieval villages to be discovered. We are 50 kms. from Modena, few kilometres from the little town of Pavullo and a few more from the ski-resort of Piane di Mocogno, belonging to the larger ski-district of Monte Cimone. Our B & B is located in am indipendent house right in the centre of the village of Polinago. We have 7 nice double bedrooms with private bathrooms and possibility to use a fully equipped kitchen. Each rooms has color tv. Open all year round. Possibility of garage for motorcycles. the structure is now completely renovated.

Reviewed By greta313Both common spaces and the room were clean, confortable and cozy. The breakfast included was diverse and tasty. Francor has been kind. I have stayed for two nights last month and I was satisfied. The area is quiet and central.

Relaxed, comfortable B&B more like a homestay, with full breakfast included along with WIFI and other meals on request. For and additional cost can pickup from Modena or Bologna and return and provide customised tours of the area for those not wishing to drive.

Reviewed By 787vittorioiMy partner and I spent three nights at the B&B and were greeted with prefessionality but also with a lot of warmth. The two owners are a lovely couple who have travelled the world and came to Polinago by choice. Their approach is therefore that of someone who wants to feel good and make others feel good. Following this motto, they run a house with all the necessary comforts for a stay in the Modenese Apennines. The village doesn't offer much but the surroundings are pleasant and suitable for those who love walking. We recommend it to those who are not in a hurry and want to discover a corner of Italy with a touch of internationality.

Podesteria Di Gombola Is An Hostel Situated In Emilia Romagna On The Hills South Of Modena, It Has Double And Bunk Beds. It Is In An Ancient Palace Buit In 1700 That Was The House Of Local Authority. Inside Are Still Visible The Ancient Prisons. It Is Good Place To Cycling, Walking And Visit The Nearby Villages, Surrounded By Nature And Immersed In The Quiet Countryside.

Reviewed By H223La struttura occupa parte di un piccolo borgo rurale in pietra, ed è stata recuperata in modo egregio. Gli alloggi presentano una grande attenzione a decorazioni e dettagli, senza perdere di vista la praticità e la completezza delle dotazioni degli appartamenti (noi abbiamo soggiornato nel Blu, grazioso, ampio e comodo bilocale al secondo piano, servito da ascensore). Il complesso è molto caratteristico e non mancano zone comuni sia all'aperto sia al chiuso (inclusa una piscina panoramica, non molto grande ma con lettini, tavolini e un piccolo servizio bar). Grande la cordialità di proprietari e del personale sia del ristorante che della colazione (entrambe opzioni che possono essere scelte a parte rispetto al solo alloggio). Ottimo per godersi qualche giorno in un luogo dove ci si sente tranquilli e a proprio agio. Solo un piccolo suggerimento alla direzione, che non inficia l'ottimo giudizio: nel caso di ospiti che soggiornino diversi giorni e usufruiscano del ristorante, potrebbe valere la pena di prevedere dei piatti del giorno da ruotare, per evitare che il menu (non amplissimo) divenga un po' ripetitivo. Grazie, torneremo.

Reviewed By valentino sSiamo stati una notte in questo hotel, ma direi che non ne farei altre , l'ambiente molto spartano, arriviamo,una reception poco illuminata e nessuno a riceverci, abbiamo aspettato un po'e poi mi sono deciso andare a cercare un addetto ,vira e gira ed abbiamo trovata in cucina ,arrivata una signora non italiana sicuramente dell'est ,senza mascherina e noi l'avevamo ,gia'questo mi aveva dato fastidio anche perche'girava spesso senza , poi dopo finalmente ci consegna le chiavi ,io pensavo che un 3 stelle avesse almeno la tv ,invece no', e senza clima ,poi ho'notato le lenzuola direi sporche ,fortuna che avevo due letti singoli,l'altro non era cosi',ma io dico va bene che abbiamo speso poco ,ma un minimo di pulizia ,non pretendevo il mondo, ma sono rimasto un po'deluso,come la colazione un po'scarsa e male organizzata .sicuramente non ci ritornero'!
