Our rural lodgings are located at the heart of the Alsatian vineyard, in Mittelwihr, small commune located close to Riquewihr. In a typical and cosy atmosphere, a warm welcome, with a drink, is reserved for you at the house of the wine grower. 2 lodges of 5 people, independent on the 1st floor, all comfort and equipped. Merles Lodge: area of 100m². Vignoble Lodge : area of 85m². For your comfort our lodges are fully air conditioned.

Excellent place to stay
Reviewed By MrCatsWe were there only for one night but we enjoyed it very much. The hotel room is clean, spacious and has a balcony. The shower is great. We switched off the airco system to have a quiet night. Not every hotel offers that possibility. Due to the Corona rules the hotel arranged a reservation for us to have diner at a nice restaurant nearby. I would rate this a four star hotel and recommend it highly.

Wonderful BB in Alsace
Reviewed By Haluk2013The GM is a lovely place to stay. The room is very spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It has a gorgeous view of the vineyards and distant villages of Alsace. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The bike ride through the vineyards is an experience that should not be missed. But these are not what makes GM a truly unique place. The owners do. Edith and Maurice are the perfect hosts, very attentive, very friendly. It was really nice talking and hiking in the Vosges mountains with them. They are one of the reasons we will go back to Alsace and of course stay at the GM. One word of caution though, they do not accept credit card, so go prepared to pay with cash.

Spartan apartment in the middle of the vines
Reviewed By AralyaThe best part of this place is its situation in the middle of the vineyard. Perfect for a stroll or a jogging early morning towards Riquewihr. Great view from the balcony. Nice little table and chairs to have breakfast and dinner. Comfortable bed. Bright rooms. The sofa on the contrary was not very good and saggy. As you are in the middle of Alsace, one might expect a decor a bit more typical and elaborate. On the other side, the owner is very welcoming, chatty and helpful.

Reviewed By ghislaine CAvons séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel (salle de bains vétuste - impossible de bien régler la température) Petit déjeuner très moyen : Peu de choix - pas de petits pains au chocolat. de raisins secs - des dattes - des abricots secs. Il faut faire la queue pour se servir, car buffets mal positionnés. Le repas du soir ; un désastre : nous n'avons presque rien mangé. le Baeckeoffe servi était insipide, la tranche de bûche de NOEL (goût d'eau) sans doute sortie du congélateur.
