A little bit of finishing required in the room and it would be perfect, patches above door frames need a second coat and it looks like an extractor fan etc were meant to be installed but haven’t been

Reviewed By TinaLLeaArriving onto the property we were pleasantly surprised by not only the great location but the amazing property itself. It overlooks Cooks Beach, beside a boutique winery and a short walk to the best beach in the area. We had the top floor master suite that had complete privacy and expansive windows and deck overlooking the bay. The bed was very comfortable and the small touches like beach towels and complimentary mini bar was a great added touch. Tom our host made us feel welcome and comfortable as we enjoyed the use of the whole homestead - he can also whip up a very delish breakfast. We would highly recommend a getaway here.

Reviewed By MichaelW421We stayed four nights at The Barn. A luxurious holiday home with all modern conveniences, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. On arrival we found breakfast provisions provided, some soft drinks, crackers and cheese. The owner is a short text away and very helpful in answering any queries, even offering to have a corkscrew delivered when I couldn’t find one. Recommended!

Reviewed By ShelleyM1625We stayed in the delux cabin for three nights. It was very small, but we were expecting that. The weather was beautiful, but extremely hot. The cabin was like a sauna by the evening, there is a definite need for a small air conditioning unit, or at the very least a ceiling fan. There was a small window above the bed but due to flying insects etc it was impossible to have it open at night. The complex is lovely and well set out. The facilities were very good. But when you don’t get much sleep because of the heat in your room, it does put a pall on your holiday.

Reviewed By petergZ9351ZPWir hatten uns auf der Coromandel Halbinsel den Ort Cooks Beach als Ziel ausgesucht. Die Nähe zu Hotwater Beach und Cathedral Cove waren die Hauptgründe. Auf booking.com wurden wir fündig. Man mietet hier ein B&B Zimmer mit eigenem Bad im netten Haus von Pauline und Ray. Die Beiden ( ein Rentner Paar) sind sehr interessiert und unterhalten sich gerne beim sehr guten Frühstück ( und auch Abends) mit ihren Gästen. So erfährt man viel über NZ und auch einiges Privates.
