Elan at Ballena Beach, a luxurious resort development nestled along a narrow stretch of southwestern Costa Rican coastline known as Costa Ballena. There aren’t many vacation homes where one of the best beaches in Costa Rica is at your doorstep, a national park is your next-door neighbor, and an incredible resort with private pools and modern day conveniences surround you. The resort features a series of elevated pools and Jacuzzi, outdoor BBQ and dining pavilion, spa treatments, 24 hour security, cleaning and concierge services, nature trails, free Wi-Fi throughout the property, and secure parking. All two and three bedroom units are tastefully furnished and decorated. All units are air/conditioned and include cable TV and high speed internet. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to feel at home. The main large terrace in your vacation home lets you interact with monkeys and amazing colorful birds native to the area.
Beautiful, well-equipped and well-located apartment
Reviewed By amrmtravelWe had five nights in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment is gorgeous and really well equipped. The pool area is beautiful with different pools - very shallow baby pool, deep pool with seating ledge and a jacuzzi. Direct access to the beach which is basically deserted but beautiful. You walk through a stretch of jungle to get to it, where we saw howler monkey and crabs and lizards. The one thing to note on the beach is that the currents are very strong. Camilla was really responsive and friendly, adding good service to the good qualities.

Exceptional stay away from mass tourism
Reviewed By yvii_baWe had the best stay here during our whole trip in Costa Rica! The rooms are in the middle of the jungle. If you are lucky you can see monkeys from the balcony of the room. Everything was very clean. Room service was every day. The shower has hot water. There are only three rooms in total. So the hosts definitely make sure that you have everything that you need! You can enjoy the breakfast of either typically Costa Rican or Continental with a jungle view too. Both options are super delicious and more than enough to start your day right. It is also served with very good coffee. All recommendations that we got either for restaurants or for activities were amazing. We cannot wait to come back and stay for longer :)

Horrible à tous points de vue
Reviewed By skwowpapoozHorrible : sale, vieux, des cafards de 5 cm dans la chambre qui font du bruit toute la nuit, un noyau d’avocat pourri trouvé sous le lit, aucun équipement dans la cuisine (pas même une casserole pour chauffer de l’eau), lits petits et inconfortables, pas d’eau chaude, douche avec des fils électriques à nu... La liste est longue. S’il n’avait pas été si tard, nous aurions cherché un autre hôtel bien sûr. Il y a d’autres options dans les environs. Vous qui avez la chance de lire ces lignes, fuyez !!!

Reviewed By X51MCjennifergReservo los comentarios de la situación que me paso en este lugar, no hay organización y menos solución de problemas. Pesimo personal por sobre todo, mejores hoteles hay en los alrededor con mejores instalaciones, servicio y trato. No lo recomiendo en absoluto
