The best way to discover the beauty of the Vinales region is beyond doubt on the back of a horse, even for people not used to riding as ourselves and we had a truly wonderful experience with Caballos de los Mogotes! I chose them because of the great reviews in French that they have but I'm writing mine in English, as I can also recommend them to English-speakers. Communication with Marie was perfect - prompt, detailed and very friendly. As it happened, she and Yanpiel were on holidays during our visit but she sent us pdf-s with very detailed information and pictures about the flora and fauna and what there is to see, our guide Orlando spoke some English and was very friendly. It was just the two of us and him and that felt very private, compared to some groups of ten or twelve that we crossed on our way. I warmly recommend the 5 hour tour as it allows you to make a big loop and see all the attractions that are definitely worth it! As we're not experienced horse-riders, I was uncertain whether that would not be too long. It turned out it was no issue at all - the horses were calm, the paths were easy, there were frequents stops and most importantly the beauty of the surroundings made every moment of the trip memorable!

My partner and I visited Viñales for two days on our seven day trip to Cuba, and this horseback riding tour made the two hour trip there worth every moment. Guided by our wonderful and informational tour guide Yoandy, we visited a tobacco farm and tried the best cigars we had in Cuba (much better than Cohiba that you might have in Havana, and much cheaper too), and also learned about the coffee production in Viñales. The view was picturesque and breathtaking. I wouldn’t have done it any differently, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Mi pareja y yo visitamos Viñales durante dos días en nuestro viaje de siete días a Cuba, y esta excursión a caballo hizo que el viaje de dos horas valiera la pena en todo momento. Guiados por nuestro guía turístico maravilloso e informativo Yoandy, visitamos una granja de tabaco y probamos los mejores cigarros que teníamos en Cuba (mucho mejor que Cohiba que podría tener en La Habana, y mucho más baratos también), y también aprendimos sobre la producción de café en Viñales. La vista era pintoresca e impresionante. No lo habría hecho de manera diferente, y se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que visite.

Fantastic beach and place. Paradise does exist. Hot and blue water. White sand. Not crowded. The road to get there is not easy but it’s really worth it.

I visited the Jardin Botanico and enjoyed the 15 minute tour very much. It was great to see and learn about the different flora in Cuba. Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice. Check it out.
