We have been loyal customers of Filasky's for YEARS. We stop here to pick strawberries each summer. We also stop in to shop their produce frequently. I would highly recommend them for their fresh local produce (from both their farm & surrounding farms). This past fall, we were invited to a kid's party at Filasky's. During our visit, we were welcomed to the pavilion area that was designated for our party. In the backyard area they had a farm themed inflatable that the kids could play in. They also had some tricycles and small tractor pedal cars for the kids to play with. There were picnic tables set out with tic-tac-toe games on them with miniature pumpkins for the game pieces. The kids enjoyed playing with that during our visit. At one point, we all boarded the wagon and took a tractor-pulled hayride around the farm. We also did the soy-bean maze that had educational questions to help guide you to turn left or right. Part of our party was to meet back at the pavilion for pumpkin donuts and apple cider. We also had snacks provided by the party host. The kids did some crafts here and each got to take home a small pumpkin. Before heading out for the day, we stopped in the market to buy some cider, pumpkin donuts and etc. Overall, we enjoyed our time with Filasky's as a party location. I think they did a good job. My only complaint is that they bees were a nuisance since we had sweets out (donuts, cider).

Charles E. Price Memorial Park

Price Mem. park is a thoughtfully designed park suitable for playing, walking, biking, sitting, running, people with accessibility challenges, and is flat, so low impact from stroller users to assistive walk users to health challenged. Whew! Really nice picnic and seating areas, very nice playground equipment, and portable bathrooms available. It has an excellent dog park, well designed. One side for small dogs and one side for large. As with all dog parks, keeping it clean and making sure that dog owners pay attention to their dogs is an issue. Small dog owners regularly put their dogs on the large dog side. It's a good park for dogs, with regularly self-centered human behavior. On a good day, it's the best. On leash, dogs can be walked around the walking trails, so don't be detered if you arrive and the dog area has "stupid humans" in it! Just take a lovely stretch of the legs and paws and hope they leave by the time you make the loop. Note: as with any dog park, check the website to see if there is a parasite warning posted. When humans don't pick up after their dogs, especially in the summer, there is sometimes a warning on the Price Mem. park page.
