Cooking Class offers a unique cooking experience of Belizean cuisine in a welcoming village environment with abundant nature. The class typically starts at 9:00 ~ 10:00 am with Mrs. Ava’s introduction and explanation about the flow of this cooking class. The guests take turns to cook some parts of the meal by themselves. After that, guests can enjoy their meal over a sit-down lunch together.

Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Part of our Heritage Rum Museum displays a history of rum-making in Belize and also how our company was founded. The other part is a tasting bar where visitors get to taste 29 products made locally on premises. This includes aged rums, gold rums, white rums, wines, bitters and liqueurs.

I have been preparing and selling local foods and snacks (panades, garnaches, fudge, tablata, cutubrute, tambran sweets..) in my parents' fast food business since 5 years old on George Street in Belize City. My Co-Host, Daisy, was born in San Ignacio Town, moved to Willows Bank Village at age 5 and has been cooking since 14 at St John's Jr College Cafeteria, where she prepared panades, garnaches, nachos, burritos, pizzas, pastries, fruit smooties..
