This museum has a surprising number of historical planes. It is well done. Most of it does not have air-condition. Enjoyed our visit.

Cirque Holidays will fill more than your Christmas stockings, it will fill your spirit with Wonder. The RingMaster, Callista and Rulito the Clown are the narrators that keep this Holiday Treasure together. We are introduced to Aerialists, a Contortionist, a Juggler, Hula-Hoops and Quick-Change. All the performers contribute to a Holiday Message of Hope, Good Will, and Peace on Earth. A great way to start the Season. Through December 22 at Water Tower Theatre.

Vitruvian Park

We love our trips to Addison every year for some extra family time before Christmas chaos takes over. Vitruvian Park with the dozens of perfectly lit trees and a smooth, safe concrete walking path is a great place for family time. Even with a decent crowd, it does not feel crowded - because there’s plenty of space for all. Most of the trees are beautifully wrapped in single colors with a good variety of red, green, blue, white, orange and purple! Then, in the midst of it all, there are a few very large live oak trees wrapped to the hilt with multi-colored lights that are absolutely gorgeous! These trees have a high quality deck with fencing and seating. There are multiple spots with perfectly lit photo opportunities. With all the cheerful people, it’s easy to find someone to grab a family photo for you. There’s more! The park includes a man made pond which provides beautiful reflections of the trees in many directions. Finally, an important detail: free parking in multiple places. You just can’t go wrong with this beautiful hidden gem in Addison. Just hold on to your little ones to ensure they don’t take a tumble into the water. Otherwise, enjoy the lights, the waterfall and the fantasy views. You’ll love it.
