Sonadia Island

Reviewed By Mushfiqpat - Dhaka City, Bangladesh

One of the greatest place to spend your leisure time in Bangladesh when visiting Cox'sBazar. It's just 20 to 30 minutes speedboat visit from Cox'sbazar 6 No. Fisheries Ghat. I would suggest to take a reserve boat from Ghat to Sonadia Island. Enjoy the calm natural beauty, the sea, the long white or grey sandy beach, bigger waves then take a walk to main island Moheskhali to enjoy the rest beauty of this great island- The Canals, Mangrove, Fishing Boat, Fishering, Calm road and blue sky over head.

Absolutely love the place, will come back any chance i get. The beach villa was great, though mines didn’t have a hammock. Only downside was the sea moved far away and its even difficult to sea or hear it on March, not sure about other seasons. Loved the breakfast, excellent juice, coffee and all in house stuff. The the the freaking best is their shampoo and hand wash, the shampoo smells like red guava and the handwash like banana.

The hotel Neeshorgo is located on Marine Drive with easy access to the beach. A little further up towards Teknaf and as you cross Himchhori, you can visit the Fun Fest area where you can experience para sailing. Once in a lifetime experience.

Laboni Beach

Reviewed By moinulbb - Dhaka City, Bangladesh

The oldest beach area in Cox's Bazar and undoubtedly the most popular one. Amazing view of the coastal line all day round. Hotels are very nearby. There is big market to buy souvenir, but don't forget to bargain. Some restaurants are also available but better to be careful about the foods. Definitely a lifetime experience.

The beach in front of the Royal Tulip resort was really beautiful. Not crowded at all. Blue water, beach activities make that place lively . The marine drive is another tourist attraction. ‘Just rent a car and go on a long drive’ it will be once in a lifetime experience!!
