The Palmachim Beach National Park is a well-known recreation site for beach lovers, but it is also a nature site that preserves the natural beach, coastal limestone ridge and shifting sand dunes. Tel Yavneh-Yam is also located within the national park. The park includes a beach for swimming, indigenous coastal flora and fauna, a huge embankment from the Canaanite city, a sea turtle farm, a visitor service center, chair rental, beach umbrellas for sale, shaded areas on a declared beach, picnic tables, lifeguards during the bathing season and first-aid services. Nice beach in the National Park, the place is well kept, clean with people taking care of it. Pleasant infrastructure and you only pay for the parking.

We have tried out both beaches in Netanya, this one is more quiet than the other Beach in the Central Disctrict. It is frequented mostly by locals and you can on weeksdays find allways a shady place on the beach. This area is more and more developing so there were build a few modern Resorts around. Public toiletts are available and there is a small store which seels cold drinks and icecream. There is also a beach bar where you can sit and enjoy the beautyfull view on the sea. But be aware that you have to go down on many stairs to get to this beach. There is no lift available as it is in the central disctrict. But it is really worth the short way down. We loved this place!

a very nice organized and clean beach. shower facilities and a nice restaurant. at evening time a lot of kite-surfers creating a beautiful view with the sunset. 20 minutes walk south you can reach the nudist beach of Ga'ash, but mostly for gay.
