We drive from Reykjavik or where you want to be picked up towards the harbor in Landeyjar. The ferry Herjólfur will take us to Heimaey or the home island. Westman islands are a group of islands off the south coast of Iceland. Heimaey is the only island that is inhabited all year long. The sailing time is around 40 minutes by the ferry , but you have panorama view the whole trip, on a good day. You can enjoy the islands and if you look towards the main island - Iceland you have a great overview of our south coast and Eyjafjallajökull. It is magnificent when we enter the harbor and it feels like the seabirds and puffins are welcoming us. This tour brings so many different sights - worth visiting.

5. Reykjanes peninsula-perfect 1st day in Iceland
We can start our tour at the airport and show you this magnificent Peninsula and take you to your hotel or the other way around from hotel, sightseeing and airport. And of course from hotel to hotel. This tour offers different sights, Reykjanes Peninsula has so much to offer and different things, during the summer birds, lively fisherman villages and of course the nature, during the summer you can see clearly the diversity in the landscape. The black grayish lava field, grey or green moss, grass, flowers and etc. The sea cliffs and the Atlantic ocean, natures power, hot springs and power plants. Lot of history and folk tales.

6. The Whale fjord and Akranes
This is a private tour -only for you and your group. Duration 7 - 8 hours. We pick up all our passengers in the greater capital area and of course take you back in the end of the tour. Our vehicle will be Land rover and your guide/driver will be either Gulla or Villi. This tour reveals magnificent landscape and diversity in nature - and if you like to hear more about our history and settlement you are on the right track. We will drive to the fjord Hvalfjord and enjoy different sights there on our way towards the town of Akranes. From Akranes on our way back to Reykjavik we drive in to the tunnel under the fjord and head back to Reykjavik.
