Bay Antique Center

Reviewed By TCMI - Saginaw, United States

This is a huge warehouse packed full of stuff. Antiques and collectables ranging from 20 years all the way up to 200 years (my opinion). I have, on more than one occasion, found a piece of furniture here to round out a room or provide me with a functional piece that I would rather not buy from box store like Art Van Furniture. If you collect stamps, jars, toys, signs...the list is extensive and the selection of things available cannot begin to be covered in a mere review like this. Plan to spend a couple hours here because even when you go through once, you will probably want to go through again - especially if there is something specific you are looking for.

Bay City Antiques Center

A Bay City legend in the historic Campbell House Hotel. Proprietors Bill & Elaine Fournier offer European and American antiques, collectables, and architectural salvage in a three story showcase. Afterwards, spend some time strolling beautiful downtown Bay City, a riverfront community with excellent boutiques, fun activities, dining and convenient, free on street parking.

HUGE! Place. Made the trip to Bay City just to go here and it was worth it. This place is huge with 3 floors. Can spend hours here! Be sure to ask at the front desk about a parking pass. I had inquired about if we needed to go out and move our truck after 2 hrs as all parking signs said 2 hr parking only...and the front desk offered me a parking pass to put in our vehicle that was for unlimited parking that day. Awesome! We spent several hours here looking at all the great stuff. Then had a late lunch and walked to some other stores and shops in the area. Very nice day away!

A nice sized mall, with a large selection of items from which to choose. The staff were friendly and helpful. As with most malls this size, there is a wide range of pricing and quality; from somewhat high-priced middling objects, to some real bargains. That, after all, is what makes the "hunt", so much fun. This mall certainly holds its own; with the other nearby antiquing options.
