Absolutely Fantastic

The hotel is amazing, classy and luxurious with incredible levels of cleanliness that even the concrete gets mopped. The welcome lived up to the expectation of the grand entrance with a large lounge area. Facilities were incredible, the snack bar was a personal hit offering fresh crepes and much more. The restaurant has a fair variety for all and the seating area allows you to sit inside in the shade or be amongst one of the hotels many breathtaking water features. And finally the entertainment- Dominika and her team do a fantastic job at offering enjoyable activities throughout the day and on evenings the entertainment was just as good with the mini disco for the children followed by a well planned and enjoyable evening show/event. I would highly recommend to anyone whether it’s a couple or a family this hotel has it all.

Super hotel for your vacation

First of all, the hotel is worth recommending. At the start I was greeted by a very nice receptionist (I think her name is Poppy), who explained the rules of the hotel. The room was not very large, but everything could easily fit into it. It was clean, had a balcony, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle and hair dryer. The facility itself very well maintained, a beautiful garden where you could walk around. There were always free sun beds by the pool. In the bar works irreplaceable Sylwie, who with her smile immediately improved the mood. The food was excellent. Huge choice (except for breakfast, which was practically the same every day), and every day dinner in a different theme (Greek of course the best!). There was never any shortage of anything. Of course we can't forget to mention the wonderful cleaning lady Liljan, who changed our towels every day and made all sorts of things out of them (crocodile, mouse, funny characters) using flower petals and leaves. Great service and highly recommended! As for the downside, the only one she finds is that there is no lifeguard by the pool.

Aeolos Beach Hotel

The Aeolos Beach Hotel, a spacious holiday complex with double rooms and bungalows, is built in the traditional style of the Greek island architecture directly on the long sandy beach of the Aegean Sea. The resort is characterised by facilities in a traditional style, which are complemented by the welcoming Greek hospitality, and offers comfortable accommodation in both the main building and in the surrounding bungalows. The relaxing ambience of the Aeolos Beach Hotel reflects the pleasant comforts of home. In May ‘18, we opened the new Wing with 45 Premium Sea View Beach Front Rooms and Pool. These 30 m2 adults-friendly rooms for max. 3 persons offer: 24 hours A/C, Wi-Fi, kettle, slippers, bathrobes (RQ, with deposit), mini-fridge with 2 small water bottles daily, 1 reserved sunbed on the pool per person, 1 bottle of red, white or rose wine per room (on guest's request). The bathrooms have rain showers and a separate toilet. Premium guests have their meals at Tranquillo Restaurant.

Lovely hotel, great location and friendly staff.

We visited this hotel as a couple for our first holiday abroad together. We stayed in a premium bungalow with a sea view. The room was spacious, light and modern with plenty of storage. There are 2 heavier blankets within the cupboard for you to use if it gets colder at night. The small fridge within the room gets re-stocked with two bottles of water daily. Shower is great! Beds are two singles pushed together - they are very comfy. There is also a day bed in the room. Hairdryer, kettle and some toiletries available. TV also in the room but most channels are in either German or Greek. The maids come daily to change bins, bed sheets and refresh towels. The premium bungalow pool was lovely. Each room had allocated sun loungers which was helpful as you didn’t have to go out every morning and put your towels on. This pool was for all inclusive members only. There is a separate pool at the main part of the hotel which was good also. This was deeper and had the bar & snack bar next to it. The staff were very nice & extremely friendly. They were accommodating and helpful. The shop within the hotel was very good also and staff within were lovely. The hotel is located 10 minutes from Kos Town. The hotel can book you a taxi and it costs €10 to get into the town. There is also a bus which is €2.50 however, it’s very unreliable and the bus stop is literally on the road so it’s quite unsafe. Kos Town itself is stunning. We loved it there. We ended up going out for dinner every night and visited 3Spoons restaurant and Broadway restaurant. Both 10/10! Would highly recommend. We also visited Jackson’s bar and Omega Sky Bar which are about a 5 minute walk from the harbour. Both bars were so nice and staff were extremely friendly. We hired a quad bike from the hotel which was €30 for the day. This was SO much fun and we explored the island for the whole day. I would highly recommend doing this. There are quads, buggies, scooters and cars to chose from. There is a €10 deposit for beach towels which you get back at the end of your stay. Things that we feel let the hotel down; The food as a whole was poor, very limited choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only stayed at the hotel 2 nights for dinner. The only good thing that was food related was the poolside snack bar. This served Greek gyros and Greek sausage, with the option changing daily. This was free for all inclusive. The alcoholic drinks were absolutely horrible. They were full of syrupand the choices were very limited. There was an option to buy Corona, Gordon’s pink gin etc however, as we had paid for all inclusive, we weren’t expecting to have to pay to drink. The all inclusive stopped at 11pm every night and after that you had to pay for drinks if you wanted them. The beach was pebbled and wasn’t very relaxing or inviting. It would be so much nicer if it was raked and maintained. There is a beach volleyball court at the hotel but again, the sand looked like it hadn’t been turned/raked in a very long time. It would have been more inviting if this was also maintained. This is a minor issue and it didn’t affect us much at all but I think it would appeal to a lot more people if the court looked the part. There is a €3 per night accommodation tax that you have to pay at the end of your stay. This wasn’t highlighted to us by Jet2 - not the hotel’s fault. Overall we did love our stay at the hotel and we loved the island. If we were returning to the island we probably wouldn’t come back to this hotel purely because of the food and standard of all inclusive.
