Reviewed By AnneT6099Clear Water Hotel was our last overnight stop of our whirlwind trip around the world in 15 days. The hotel is new, clean, spacious and nicely located. But, the stop turned out to be a memorable experience because of the friendliness of Alice and especially Evan who staffed the desk. Evan explained how to walk to the casino , but when we didn't completely understand, he said" I'm off in 5 minutes, I'll go with you". He knows the chief at the casino dinning rooms he ordered for the table. Those were the best dumplings I've ever had! He keep us entertained for hours. There's nothing like local knowledge. Evan went above and beyond. Stay at Clear Water, they will treat you well.

Reviewed By 藤 伊友達と３人で泊まらせていただきました。 韓国人夫婦で経営されていて、どちらもとても良くして下さいました。 近くの良いレストランを教えてくれたり、薬局に連れて行ってくれたりしました。 特に嬉しかったのが、自家製キムチをくれたことです。 近くのスーパーで野菜を買おうとしたら、ジャガイモしか売ってなく、 僕たちは野菜不足に苦しんでいました。そんな僕たちを救ってくれたのは、御夫人が差し入れてくださったキムチです。おいしい。異国で、日本でも馴染み深い料理が食べれたのは嬉しかったです。 宿自身にも満足しています。シャワーはしっかり熱く、シャンプーやリンスのアメニティが嬉しい。エアコンはついているのですが、夜中にエアコンをつけて寝ると、目覚めたら部屋がすごく乾燥して喉が辛いので、対策が必要です。ぶっちゃけ、困った部分はそこぐらいです。朝食でパンを自由に食べてよいのも嬉しいですね。 お蔭様で良い旅が出来ました。また利用したいです。

Reviewed By N CI felt like I was cheated after staying here. Will never stay here again, for many reasons: 1. The room price seems deceptively cheap, but its actually outrageous. There is a $20 cleaning fee added to the room price. 2. In spite of the $20 cleaning fee the room was dirty, hair on the floor, dirty stained pillow cases and bed sheets, dust and cobwebs. Bathroom is quite dirty, there was grime on the bath tub and bathroom floor was dirty. See photos. Hotels I’ve stayed at are cleaner, and they don’t even charge a $20 cleaning fee! 3. The description of the room is clearly misleading. For example it says “each room comes with a terrace with views of the sea. The rooms include air conditioning, a microwave, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and Blu-ray player. “. My room had neither. All I got was one room with a fan and two dressing tables. Bathrooms are shared. I think there is one bathroom for males and two for females. 4. The description states that the size of the room is 42m2. In fact it was 12m2 or less. 5. The photos on booking.com and other sites certainly do not match reality. The photos look nice, reality is completely different. See photos I took of the room. 6. I took one of the photos at night, after midnight. The wall does not go all the way up to the ceiling. There is a gap covered with wire mash, allowing light and noise to come through. This room ‘design’ makes it seem more like a cage. 7. Upstairs there is a shooting range. If you are looking for an early peaceful night, that’s not possible. The owner said shooting stops at 2130. It certainly wasn’t the case when I was there. The cleaning fee ($20) plus VAT is disclosed, but if you don’t read about the cleaning fee in advance and you are told once you are at the guest house, it is unlikely that you will go elsewhere. That’s what I did, I paid as I had no option. I think the owner is trying to rip off visitors probably knowing that they are less likely to visit Guam again. As a customer, I will never go back to this place, even if the price is 4 times lower. Surely there are a couple of positives with this place, but the negatives overshadow the positives. This is one of my worse hotel experiences ever, and I paid just over US$80!!! If I paid $20, I would be more forgiving. I’ve noticed that the owner is aggressive when someone leaves negative reviews. It’s a pity. I’m expecting the same for my review.
