Cala Luna made my Vow Renewal Perfect!
Reviewed By stephanie990I am living currently near the hotel and needed a venue to host my intimate 15 year wedding anniversary vow renewal. Their event manager and the staff made it perfect, with a delicious cake and a beautiful covered area for the ceremony. There was ample space to take photos including their private beach. After we had a private table booked for lunch and my kids played in the pool. It went off without a hitch and I’m so grateful for their help and care through the entire process.

Set along a tranquil beach on the Pacific Ocean, this laid-back all-inclusive resort overlooking Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas is 2 km from shops and restaurants in Tamarindo. Casual rooms provide flat-screen TVs, minibars and free Wi-Fi, plus terraces or balconies. Bi-level suites add living rooms with pull-out sofas, as well as ocean views and/or whirlpool tubs. In addition to meals, parking is included. There's also a seafood restaurant, a buffet eatery and a lobby bar, as well as a hot tub and an outdoor pool with a snack bar and live entertainment. Other amenities include a spa, a gym and a tennis court, as well as beach access.

Perfect Place!
Reviewed By Eatingout1111We recently spent 2 nights at Zen Garden and loved it! The room setup is perfect with the bedroom (with AC) & Bali-style outdoor bathroom separate from a living/kitchen area. Santiago & Sarah were so friendly and helped with recommendations. Cannot recommend Zen Garden enough - wish we could have stayed for longer!

Bad experience and horrible host !!!
Reviewed By Travelerpv88It was one of, if not the worst experience a guest could have. The owner of villa Berth Laget is a fraud. He keeps the deposit and renovates his poor quality house with the money of the guests. Watch out! He didn’t reply to our messages and blocked our number. The matter has been reported by us to police. Definitely be warned against this guy !!!!! They blamed their broken infrastructure to us, keeping the money, never provided receipts of what was done and just treated us carelessly. Few things about the house which we struggled during our stay: The parking lot in front of the house was not able to accommodate our two cars. A large part of it was occupied by the owner's unused car. The rooms were very small. When traveling from Europe, we had large suitcases and there was absolutely no space to spread them out, the bed took up the entire surface. The bed was very creaky with every movement. The tv was not working in one of the rooms. Kitchen equipment was not working properly. Sometimes there was no hot water. Very used living room sofa, definitely needs replacing and cleaning. From the beginning of our stay, the gas in the bbq was empty and when we asked to refill it, it took 3 days! The master shower was outside and during rain it was not possible to take a shower, quite uncomfortable and not practical. Water in pool was freezing, and house’s position avoided sun from hitting the pool and therefore you in it after say 1 pm. So after few minutes in the water you had to step out to look out for the sun or rather find the edge of the pool to see how much you could get. Wasn’t nice when coming back from downtown and wanting to jump in the pool in the afternoon. The sun beds were made from concrete and you couldn’t move them making it uncomfortable while sunbathing. A new house is being built next door and was very noisy all days. We couldn’t rest quietly during our vacation. In summary for such a price of stay, you are able to find a much better place with better comfort and for a lower price! And definitely with a friendly owner who respects his guests and treats them loyally. We strongly advise against staying in the villa. We don’t recommend that place and greedy host! ??????
