Reviewed By mahipaln2016First of all, this is one of those hotels where the owner and his family is fully invested and interested in making the stay of the guests comfortable. This property is a hotel which combines some features of a home stay and a resort without trying to become either. It is maintenance and service can beat the best or more expensive hotels. I can testify it as we arrived at this place on 15th of April which was Vishu, Good Friday and a Ramadan Friday, wherein most people prefer to stay home and as a result all the staff was on leave barring one cook. Other than us (3 families/rooms), there was only one more family staying at the hotel at that time. The property has 3 acres of farm which has many plantations and many of the vegetables are grown organically. We are vegetarians and yet all efforts were made to serve us high quality food of our choice. Rooms are of decent size, clean well maintained so are the bathrooms. The whole place has a nice appeal to it and well designed. This place is ideal for events as well with large lawn and many rooms. It is very close to Kannur airport. It is also an ideal stay option before venturing to visit Waynad or Coorg for holidays. We certainly intend to find another opportunity to visit Green Planet.

Hungrama the restuarant gives you total relax with low sound channel music and fascinating view of hill billies infront of the hotel. During my visit to india I stayed two different times here..Wonderful !.

Pearl Casper neat and clean place for a short stay
Reviewed By gues123I stayed in this property for two days while visiting Wayanad with my family of 4 elders. The property is only 1.5 km away from Kannur airport and about a hundred odd mtrs from mattannur junction tucked well inside from main road. It is an apartment type accommodation with common sitting, dining rooms with good furniture, mini fridge and a kitchen with necessary tea /coffee making utensils. They provide clean drinking water. The room was well kept and bed linen were clean and fresh. There is no restaurant with this hotel but the management assist you with details how to get excellent choice food delivered from nearby good restaurants. The staff is present 24/7 and are at your call for any help. We were assisted with getting transportation to Tirunelli temple by the management. I must thank Mr. Hamraaz , partner of this property, for his indulgence in keeping us, the senior citizens, happy and satisfied for all our needs or requirements. He was always available and approachable to help us any time during our stay in this apartment. Thank you Hamraaz once again. I recommend this excellent place to all for a short stay. We will prefer this property only to any other hotel in Mattannur for future stay RB Nair

Depressing/ not suitable for Westerners
Reviewed By bobl381Prebooked and came after 12pm. Anxious receptionist TOLD me in one WORD ...WAIT WAIT WAIT. Unsmiling, he eventually beckoned me to a windowless room only to usher me back again for phone number, signature and as entered the room again ushered me back for ID and so it went on! Not worth the money guys; better pay a bit more at a good three star and get service also. I cancelled and checked into a spacious six windowed 1bhk nearby for just a few hundred extra !! Better to avoid the area altogether and stay in Kannur
