Hotel located in Kalpitiya with beach access to the ocean and a 5 minute walk to the lagoon. After a great day of kiting, you can relax in your room overlooking the sea, at the bar, or at our restaurant serving both local and international cuisine. Each room is fan-cooled and has a balcony with a sea-view. Rooms have a private bathroom, free wifi, and either 1 double bed, or 2 twin beds. Free parking is available.

Incredible Getaway and not just the Kitesurfing!
Reviewed By DmitriyMyshkinWe came to this hotel for 5 days for a kitesurfing vacation and were very happy with our choice! The rooms were all Maldives-style bungalos with high ceilings, an enclosed patio, outdoor bathroom/shower which was a nice feature so that you could come wash off directly from the beach without bringing sand into the room. The room was well decorated, modern with concrete and wood construction, cleaned and linens changed every 2 days and had good towels, toiletries, linens, etc. The water I believe comes from a on-property deep well so you don't need to worry so much about brushing teeth with bottled water and other things you'd normally worry about in Sri Lanka. Main highlights: The private beach (we didn't see any people except us for 5 days!) with warm, shallow water that we spent all day swiming in and nice quality sand, palm trees and beautiful sunsets; The staff - incredibly nice people that went above and beyond for all our needs - especially Janneker the manager who even arranged us our kitesurfing lessons from his contact, and an excellent driver for the rest of our trip; The food and kitchen staff, who cooked us delicious seafood any time of day or night (we had very irregular eating schedules, sometimes very early, lunch at 2-3-4-5PM, dinners sometimes very late at night). They stayed and let us eat as late as we wanted. The value of the food and alcohol are hard to beat. We had 3 meals a day x 2 people, including grilled seafood with crab, tuna caught fresh in front of the hotel, prawns, calimari, local curries, great vegetables and salads, a very nice breakfast every day, and multiple cocktails day and evening, and the entire food/drinks bill for 6 days/5 nights was 190 euros! Even including the room rate we spent less during this week than if we had stayed home! Kitesurfing - the spot in the lagoon is AMAZING with shallow flat water, windy, lots of kite schools with new equipment! Was a perfect spot for learning and we got several days of really amazing riding and big jumps! Janneker the manager went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He arranged us a driver from Colombo, the kitesurf and driver as I mentioned, arranged a courier free of charge to send us our laptop charger we forgot to a hotel further in our intinerary. We communicated with him for several months in advance via Whatsapp and he answered all our questions and arranged all the details well in advance. This was by far the best hotel during our 2-week trip. We enjoyed this part of our stay the most! It felt so tropical and chill, zero worries, and some decent beach restaurants for when we wanted some variety. I recommend this property A+++ and will be coming back here soon!
