Lovely owners, clean premises, nicely appointed room with large screen tv, quiet, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast. covid precautions followed. Only noise was gurgling for hot water heating. parking just outside the door. Due to wind there is a covered walkway around the hallway, keeps dirt and cold air out. Genius. Don’t judge this book by its cover! The rooms were amazing, and especially for what we paid ($68 all taxes in)! Would stay here again! Big fridge, plates and cutlery, coffee, toaster, microwave, and kettle.

Century II Motel

2 stars for being clean

old motel, attempted renovations by people who have no renovation skills. Furnished with found, second hand items. The meat of the matter is this, the old bathroom had no forced air ventilation (common for the time) and the bathroom window has been plugged by an air conditioner...NO VENTILATION AT ALL! This can't meet code. Worse, the owners have added a small fridge, microwave and food prep surface. OK appreciate that BUT guess where this stuff was located...IN THE BATHROOM. The one window in the unit cannot be locked; anyone could force entry without using any force. Electrical isn't up to code. I know, I'm an electrical engineer. And they wanted $75 a night. I've stayed in far superior Motel 6s for under $40.

Run down and not maintained

Hotel is very low quality not very well maintained. There is a smell that doesn't go away and lots of the stuff in the room haven't been replaced for years. It's quite gross and can be described as an.... sort of acceptable dump? In a desperate need I guess. If you can stay somewhere else, do!

Did Not Honour my confirmed Reservation

Reviewed By Brian S

I wish I can rate this less than 1. I had a confirmed booking for July 31/21 made on a 3rd party site. After a day of driving I attended the front desk at the appropriate check-in time & the clerk (id'd himself as Boris) told me that he was sorry I could not honour my booking as he had to extend the stay of people in my room. He said had no other rooms to give me. He said it was his fault. I had to go else where to for the night. I got absolutely nowhere with the OYO Customer Service thru phone calls and emails. This is no way to treat customers. I will never recommend this place, and I hope others please reconsider staying there. If the Hotel Bethel or OYO reads this, please respond and/or contact me.
