Lovely peaceful hotel

Reviewed By Tracew

We only stayed one night at this lovely hotel. We had a reasonably sized room and it was extremely comfortable. Nice little Logis touches in the room. The owner was exceptionally helpful and provided plenty of information in advance so that we could get into the apartment quickly. She also recommended the most amazing restaurant in nearby Beaugency (Le P'tit Bateau) which we are eternally grateful for. Lovely breakfast, great value and a peaceful location.

Le Clos Tilia

We offer two very quiet bedrooms in a separate building in the aftermath of our house. They are quiet and comfortable. Equipped with private bathroom: separate toilet and bathroom with a spacious shower. The bedding is quality and offers the best comfort. We were careful to treat the renovation and decoration to maintain the original character of the building, to set value stones and beams and offer you a pleasant and warm. Clery Saint Andre, our village has in the department of Loiret, a privileged location between the Loire and Sologne and the castles route, eg Chambord is only twenty minutes. Sologne and the Loire offer the possibility of many hikes

Beautiful Chambre D’hote

We stayed for one night on our way back to Calais from Lot et Garonne. The house is about a 15 minute drive from the junction of the A20, through woodland. It is situated in a pretty village with an impressive church and lots of grand, interesting buildings. There is ample parking immediately next to the house. Mr and Mme Fay were friendly and welcoming, offering a cold drink on arrival, and their house is beautiful. The rooms are in an annexe overlooking their garden, and there is an attractive communal living room/kitchen/dining room downstairs where breakfast was served. We stayed in their family room, with our 3 children (10, 8 and 4). The room is attractive and immaculate, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The shower worked well, and plenty of towels and bed linen were provided. The highlight for the children was their wild and wonderful garden, with a swing and small slide. They played for hours which was welcome relief after a day of travelling. We then walked 5 minutes to the local pizza place and took pizzas back to eat in the garden, where we discovered a beautiful ginger cat and a tortoise! Breakfast was delicious, small griddled pancakes and toasted bread served with their own jams (quince, cherry and butternut squash) and their own delicious honey. Our only regret was our lack of French, as we would have loved to ask them more about their fascinating house and their bees and animals. Despite our lack of the language, Mr and Mme Fay were friendly and helpful, and we would love to stay again if we travel through the area. It would be a good base for a longer stay to explore the local area too, being only 7 miles from Orleans.

Delightful B & B in the countryside

Reviewed By Peter G

Stayed for one night to break our journey. English speaking Christine was happy to provide afternoon tea which we took in the garden. Lovely room in the old chapel attic; comfortable and plenty of character. Christine suggested a good local restaurant for dinner and we woke up with a view of the paddocks and some of the 15 horses and donkeys!Lovely breakfast with a choice of jams made by her father. Quite happy to recommend or visit again should we be in the area.
