Zaventem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈzaːvəntɛm]) is a Belgian municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant. It is located in the Dijleland area, one of the three large recreational areas which together form the Groene Gordel ("Green Belt") around the Brussels-Capital Region. The municipality comprises the subdivisions or deelgemeenten of Nossegem, Sint-Stevens-Woluwe, Sterrebeek and Zaventem proper. On 1 January 2006 Zaventem had a total population of 28,651. The total area is 27.62 square kilometres (10.66 square miles), which gives a population density of 1,037 inhabitants per km². The official language is Dutch as it is within the Flemish Region. Zaventem is the home of Brussels Airport, together with neighbouring town of Diegem.

We had the birthday party of our now 6 year old in Legenturia with a group of ten 5-6 year olds on a Sunday afternoon in February.
Positive sides:
+ Great magician show
Negative sides: almost everything else:
- overpriced with limited service. You pay a lot and you as parents are in charge of EVERYTHING. I mean everything about the group: managing their schedule for different activities AND even queuing to bring their food and drinks. For the price I'd expect an entertainer for each group
- very loud, very chaotic and totally unsuitable for kids below 7-8 years. It is huge
- you are totally on your own and in peak times it is just too much
Conclusion: good about the age 7-8 and as long as one avoids peak times. In any case, I have doubts it is worth the price tag

RAVEN Zaventem is the first official virtual reality arcade in Belgium located near the airport. We have 30 VR rooms available for people to discover and enjoy the wonderful world of virtual reality. Accessible for individuals as for companies, for teambuildings, events etc. VR sets also rentable for events on location. Different kind of VR games to choose from, as well as VR story's and demo's to see. An interesting experience as well for gamers as non-gamers. As from the age of 7. High-tech battle escape rooms/games opening soon.

We went with a couple of friends for this new experience, and we weren't disappointed!
You start off with a simple initiation video and from there on it just keeps getting better and better.
They have 8 rooms with each its own vive. You can play alone or you can go for the multiplayer experience.
Especially the latter was extremely fun!
The games and virtual reality experiences vary from simple animations, psychedelic videos, first person zombie shooters to co-op multiplayer shooters and much more.
The hosts were very passionate and friendly.
Btw don't underestimate the intensity of the activity!

We took 1h simulation. It was our first time on a flight simulator. Everything was better than we expected! Very realistic experience. Felt real stress to land the plane :)) But also exiting. So many things to take into account, wow!
The instructor was nice, the place clean and easy to find. Would go again!

Het kunstwerk "Flight in Mind" van Olivier Strebelle is al sinds 1995 deel van de vertrekhal in Zaventem.
Op 22/03/16 is de eerste bom afgegaan in de buurt van dit kunstwerk en is het kunstwerk beschadigd.
Het kunstwerk is nu een herdenkingsmonument geworden op de invalsweg van de luchthaven van Zaventem. De verwondingen van het "kunstwerk" zijn nog steeds aanwezig in het monument. Van "kunstwerk" naar "monument" is een niet benijdenswaardige evaluatie.
De grootschaligheid van het "kunstwerk" in de "kleine" vertrekhal is nu vervangen door een "monument" van gevoelens opgeslorpt in de openlucht.
