We've been to The Penny Farthing before, always a lovely atmosphere, Bob and Bev strive to make it a really relaxed visit, serving us at our table. There is a varied range of beers that do change regularly and they are served with the utmost care. Tonight was Christmas Carol's, great fun to be had by all! Pop in, you won't be disappointed!

Went tonight for my Daughter’s 22nd birthday (booked online a couple of months ago, and was very easy to do). We have been before and always have a great time. Tuesdays are a good night to go, not as busy as a Saturday and a bonus it just happened to fall on my Daughters birthday. The staff are all so helpful and friendly, in particular Elouise who looked after our food and drink orders and who couldn’t do enough for us. She brought out a cake I had taken in with some other staff and sang happy birthday to my Daughter which was really nice (Thank you Elouise!). I think the evening was fantastic value, we paid £25 per person and got a great window seat next to the finish line, a brochure with all the races in and a very filling 3 course meal with tea/coffee. You don’t need to leave your seat for anything someone looks after your food and drinks orders and another person looks after your betting (and will explain how to do it, if you don’t know). I thought there was a really good choice of food and it was all really nice, piping hot and served very quickly. There is also ample free parking. If you are looking for a fun night out with friends or family I really recommend it.
