It was sunny but rainy summer day when we came here. It was obvious that there was no husky-rides available. But the huskies (all 200 of them) and domestic farm animals were all very active. Kids loved especially husky-puppies and bunnies. There is lots to see even if you can't or dare go to the husky-ride.

We spent 4 days in Kuusamo on a business trip and wanted to try our hand at snowmobiling. There were 4 in our group and none of us had ridden before. We contacted Kuusamo Safaris Day Tours through the internet, and decided to book a 2-3 hour Safari through them. I couldn't have been happier, what a great experience. We took the ski bus from our hotel and were met by a representative who drove us to their business. They quickly outfitted us with suits, gloves, boots, helmet liner and helmets. We were then given a quick safety and operations brief and we were off! The scenery was spectacular, the machines were top notch, and to top it off we experienced a near total eclipse during our ride. Harry, our guide, was great and ensured that our experience was safe and enjoyable. I will remember the experience forever and would recommend this company to everybody.

If you have a car, I'd recommend you to rent your gear in this shop, which is located close to the S-market and ABC- and Neste -petrol stations. They offer very good personal service and offer rates some 30 per cent lower thant the competiotors by the slopes. They offer gear for skiing (all sorts), skii-doos and activities, too.

Definitely could have been a better experience. Should have believed the lack of reviews and gone with some other activity provider. Not awefull but just... meh. Could have used my time better. With a book for example. Books make you feel welcome.
