Balazs Gyori ( Balu) 40 years old Tandem pilot of TandemFly La Palma I have been paragliding since the year of 2000. In 2005 I did my instructor exam for paragliders. In 2007 I obtained the title of tandem pilot of paragliders. I live with my family in Puerto Naos. I have two daughters and a precious women besides me. I have been working on the island of La Palma for two years now. I have done more than 700 tandem flights with content passangers, whose dream to fly like birds over volcanos I could realize. Being a paragliding tandem pilot not only is a job to me but I feel that it is my calling in life.

At first when I saw this signposted I was a bit ambivalent. What could be so interesting about a banana plantation? Well, to answer that question in short; "All of it"'. It's so much more than just a plantation. It shows the visitor a symbiotic self-sustaining eco-system. A different, so much better kind of farming. If only the rest of agriculture would make some progress in this direction. Besides a nice walk in a mesmerising scenery, you can expect an informative (and funny) tour by the owner of the plantation. A man with a mission and a clear message to the world. I'm very much aware €20,- seems a bit steep as an entrance fee. But I can assure you it's definitely worth it. Just don't look at it as a fee, but as a donation towards a good cause. You'll understand why ;)
