Leipsoi (Greek: Λειψοί, also: Lipsi) is an island south of Samos and to the north of Leros in Greece. It is well serviced with ferries passing between Patmos and Leros and on the main route for ferries from Piraeus. Leipsoi is a small group of islets at the northern part of the Dodecanese near to Patmos island and Leros. The larger Leipsi-Arkoi archipelago consists of some 37 islands and islets of which only three are larger than 1 square kilometre (247 acres): Leipsoi (15.95 square kilometres (6.16 sq mi)), Arkoi (6.7 square kilometres (2.59 sq mi), part of Patmos municipality) and Agreloussa (1.32 square kilometres (0.51 sq mi), part of Patmos municipality). Only Leipsoi, Arkoi and Marathos are inhabited. Leipsoi is a municipality, part of the Kalymnos regional unit, which is part of the South Aegean region. So many memories here, and even though have visited Platis Gialos so many times, it never changes- I love this. The ducks are still there, the olives groves and Ayios Konstantinos and Eleni had been there for hundreds of years, and the fantastic restaurant provides delicious meals. Love love love the beach, tranquil, peaceful bay.

The Rena 5 Island Cruise

Great daily boat trip if you are staying at Lipsi island. The five Islands with different natural and tourist wonders: the Makronisi with caves and beautiful rock formations, the "white" island Aspronisi with breathtaking and unspoiled beach, Tiganakia swimming in the Emerald waters, lunch at Marathi and cold beer at Arki Island. I would definitely recommend you this trip if you are staying in Lipsi for a week.

The beauty of this beaach is difficult to describe.
You arrive there and you are taken apart from the serinity and the beauty your eyes are filled with.
A wonderful beach with little stones, crystal clear waters and once you walk a little onto the right you see another small beach with the rocks protecting it and making it feel a kind of private beach.
Very bautiful part off the island.
