Paiges Crossing offers a nice variety of entertainment all in one location. Mini-golf, batting cages, driving range, arcade, go-carts and a few other amusment rides. They have a wrist band special ($17) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings that can be a real money saver. My only complaint is the relatively unattentive/disinterested staff. Have waited at the counter on more than one occaision for entirely too long being completely ignored by the young staff who were too busy talking among themselves to wait on us. The manager REALLY needs to address this.

It's great to have a beer taproom in Columbia City! The décor is interesting with old doors and windows hung along the wall. Nice little bar and several small tables. On the Friday night I stopped in they had a guitar player up front which sounded good. Chapmans has a fairly good selection of beers on tap and had two guest beers on the list. I ordered a sampler platter of 6 beers to share.

The bar tenders knew the details on the beers they served. They offer growlers on all the beers on tap and a few of them in cans. No food but they did have popcorn and peanuts to snack on. The beer sampler was good and I decided to finish with a small glass of their red. Looks like this will be a great local hang out.
