Although we did not take any guided tours from Grand Mesa Adventures we did visit their gift shop on three separate occasions. We camped up on the Mesa for one week this summer and happened upon the gift shop when we ate at the Alexander Lake Lodge Restaurant. The gift shop has so many unique items and also some necessities in case you forget to pack something. We purchased some souvenirs such as T-shirts and lounge pants. They have a great variety of items with the "Grand Mesa" imprinted on them. What also brought our attention to this shop was the handmade flies for fishing that the owner ties himself inside the store. He can direct you to what type of fly to fish with depending on what lake you are going to on the Mesa and he seems to know what type of fish bite on which flies. They are all very nicely made and reasonably priced. He really seemed to know the history of the Grand Mesa as he has been in the area for many years. The postcards they sold were also actual photos taken by the owner of the surrounding areas. This place had nice little souvenirs for everyone!

We have come here many times - always to see the birds. It is a great place to see the Sandhill Cranes as they come by in the spring - the rest here before flying over the Grand Mesa. It is a spectacular site, seeing the millions (I think) of them!

But, it is a great spot anytime of the year. We often see bald eagles, meadow larks, all sorts of waterfowl.

There are a few nice parking areas and you can walk over the low bridge or walkway between the lakes. Amazing what you can see.

Took my teeenage step son for a visit this summer; We were surprised that such a great and historic place existed and had a fun time touring. We were a bit disappointed the blacksmiths were not there, and had gone back several times to see them. Will visit again next year!

It's a shame they don't deliver to Texas because both of us couples would have ordered a case and joined the wine club. Loved every single one of the tastings and the lady serving us with the pigtails was very knowledgeable and helpful. We'll be...MoreThank so much for spending some time with us! And just and FYI, as of January 2017, we can now ship to Texas!

Food was good but it takes a really long time to get your food for such a small place. Lots of interesting art, gifts, clothes, candles, and more to look at while you're eating, fair priced. It's on the main road through town when driving to telluride.
