Can say enough about the extensive terrain! Grromers are all over, staff is super helpful, lifts seemed a bit slow, but the week after Presidents week is a GREAT week to enjoy an uncrowded mountain. You'll need a solid week to cover the enitre mountain.Thanks so much for coming; sounds like you got some good runs in!

Being an engineer, my husband is especially interested in everything mechanical. He enjoyed the Stanley Steemer cars as well as the technical drawings done by the Stanleys. I enjoy history and the arts-and the rest of the Stanleys' story was extremely interesting. I purchased a lovely set of Christmas postcards-originally designed by their sister in a very nice art nouveau style.

We had read about this course, but even so, experiencing it while the autumn colors were at their peak was wonderful. The course is magnificent and well maintained. It has all the challenge one looks for in one of the world's top courses: highly recommended! Do purchase your green fee's on line in advance (significant savings, and we got a better price than the Manager of the resort could find). It it wasn't 1400 miles from home I'd play it more often!

Billed as a "locals" hangout, but mostly people from "away". That being said, it's a fun atmosphere with live music most nights during the ski season. The food is decent if you like BBQ. The ribs are great. Just a tip, get the sauce on the side as it can be a little strong.
Keep the small children away on weekend nights after 9:00 as it gets a little nuts. If you've never been, go. If you've been before, go again. Good times.
