I went for a day ride up into the mountains. The horses are not only beautiful, but a joy to ride. We saw snow capped mountains, rushing waterfalls, and a view across the sea all the way to Morocco. Delicious picnic lunch, and two friendly and knowledgeable guides, Lisa and Janet. What more could you ask for? A perfect day.

The owner of our holiday apartment recommended Alpujarra Bikes; excellent advice. After discovering that the highest point on the Iberian peninsula was just behind where I was staying, I thought, "Mountain Bike". Brian and Lynn advised on routes (plus some extra singletrack I might be interested in) and rented me a full-sus (Mondraker Dune) bike for the day. A number of hours later I had taken many photos and reached the highest point allowed on a bike by the Park Authority (3100m). Then came the return... 27km of downhill... enough to put a big smile on anyone's face. I won't be forgetting that one; thankyou Brian & Lynn.
