It was probably the hottest day of August in the Netherlands that we set out for our visit to the Gardens of Appeltern. A great destination for just looking at beautiful things but also a must for all who are pondering what to do with their gardens. Plenty of different "show gardens" with different flowers, structures, many with water etc. Make sure you have put on good footwear as there is a lot of walking to do if you want to see all. We did not manage to see all and therefore, we will have to go back to finalise our visit!
