Allendale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ottawa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 17,579 at the 2010 census. It is located within Allendale Charter Township, occupying the northern two-thirds of the township, from the eastern boundary with the Grand River west along Pierce St., north along 75th Ave., then west along Lake Michigan Drive (M-45) to the western boundary of the township. It is a part of the Grand Rapids-Muskegon-Holland, Michigan combined statistical area, and is an exurb of Grand Rapids, due to its major commuter routes into the city (M-45 and I-96).

CrossFit Allendale is fantastic! The coaches/owners made me feel right at home. Facility is a great space and has every thing you need. Other people/members who were working out were really friendly and encouraging. I for sure will be back next time I am in town.

Went here for the burger and was not disappointed. Very good service and the prices were good. Both of us got a stuffed burger and they were delicious. Cheese Curds were also good and it's fun looking at all the celebrity mug shots on the wall.

We love this place and often stop for a bite from a food truck and a beer. Always a nice selection and my personal favorites are some of the Bourbon Barrel aged beers. Nice outdoor seating area as well.
5. Engine House No 5 Museum
Engine House No 5 was originally constructed in 1880 on the banks of the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids Michigan on the corner of Leonard and Monroe Streets. This historic station served the Grand Rapids community for 100 years. In 1980 she was relocated to Allendale to serve as a fire history museum with artifacts dating back to the 1700's.
