We spent 3 days / 2 nights in the Whitney room for our Anniversary. There is really not much at all to do there, no real activities, so it was a huge difference for us to just relax and catch up on sleep and relaxation. They have a small gym, but other than that, there's just food at the restaurant. There is a hallway with photos of the history of the Castle and a "Chaplin Room" with a plethora of Charlie Chaplin memorabilia. The furniture is solid antique wood that you cannot find anywhere else, the high ceilings exquisite, and all the comforts of modern life such as the sprinklers, smoke/fire detectors, elevator, etc. A bit disappointed there was no small refrigerator in the room, for the price they charge, but it was a very large room with modern bathroom and a great view. The bed and cushions were very comfortable and we slept quite deeply. Extremely quiet too. We had a great time there and really got to relax. The tour is great because it gives you some great history with many people that you have heard of before but did not know were a part of the Okeka lagacy. The restaurant is unbelievable with the quality of food they have - I am entering a separate review on that. It is expensive for the average person, but if you want to treat your significant other to a bucket list of staying at a Castle, this is the place.

Love this for a weekend walk or hike. Plenty of parking. We visit once a week if we can since we have the Empire pass. You can find a map online on the NY State Park website.

We went to see Foghat last night what a great concert, the staff at the Paramount were great, my girlfriend has a fractured ankle and is wearing a boot, the staff provided us with two chairs even though we had general admission tickets and took us up one flight on the elevator to where the stage is, the staff was wonderful and treated us great, looking forward to going back to the Paramount
