My daughter made the reservation for the vineyard tour and it was one of the best part of our trip to Madrid. After a bus ride to San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Madrid We were picked up and driven to the vineyard and Bodega by Fernando’s cousin. An awesome lady that explained to us about the area, the vineyards and the process of making wine. We did multiple tastings and they also had tapas for us. They set them out outside where we can see the vineyards. It was the best experience. Tapas is a plate of cheese, olives, breads and ham. They also had wine for sale and we were happy to buy to bring back and enjoy here in the states. We were also taken to a local restaurant for lunch. It was a very Spaniard restaurant with delicious food and not pricey. Great, wonderful and awesome place and people to visit. Don’t miss the Valleyglesias Bodega vineyards while visiting Madrid.
