I’ve always loved puzzles and the thought of doing an escape room has always appealed to me. So when a couple of friends suggested going to an escape room together I jumped at the chance! We booked The Lost Tomb of Monthu and I had no idea what to expect. It wasn’t big and fancy like you see on TV shows but oh my it was so much fun!! The rooms were just big enough to feel like there was so much to find but small enough to feel personal and exciting. We actually managed to finish the first room and were so exhilarated we immediately booked a second room, Asylum, so that we could continue the thrill. We failed! I think we got a bit over-excited after completing the first room and ended up struggling on the second but still thoroughly enjoyed every minute!! The atmosphere and decor was great and the staff were helpful and fun. Tip: 1) before you go practice basic logic 2) don’t overthink it 3) listen to your instructions 4) PRACTICE ON THE LOCKS IN THE FOYER! Can’t wait to do it again!!!!!

This is the largest outlet Mall I have ever visited! It is located about 40 minutes from Downtown Miami and my hotel arranged for a shuttle to take my friend and I there for $30 dollars each (Return trip). The layout is very good and décor pleasing to the eye. There are so many designer shops here - Gucci, Guess, DKNY, D & G, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Boss etc that you will shop till you drop!. There are also regular shops here including Jewellery, Shoes and Cosmetic Stores. We visited over the Thanksgiving weekend therefore it was packed, with queues everywhere! Lots of dining choices too if you fancy a bit to eat too! Highly Recommended!!

BB&T Center

My wife and I took in a afternoon Hockey game versus the Edmonton Oilers and had a enjoyable time. I have visited several NHL arenas and the BB&T Center was very nice. Nice wide concourse with plenty of areas to eat and shop. Access to the seats was very good and the sight lines were excellent. The Panthers usually don't have good attendance but I'm sure there were a lot of Canadian tourists that took in the game. That being said the Panther fans were fun and it was an entertaining experience.

While searching on Groupon for something, I came across Striker’s Family Sportscenter. We are from out of town and we were looking for something fun to do. I searched for reviews and saw that it was good reviews. When we arrived, the outside didn’t look like a place where families would go to have fun. I started doubting and didn’t know if we should turn around and return back to the hotel but told my husband “let’s go inside and see how it looks”. Glad we did. Right away, I could tell it has been cleaned. It smelled like they have been cleaning. We stood there for a lil while and finally had to ask the girl who was dealing with the bowling balls if she could have someone help us. She called someone through the radio. Honestly, I shouldn’t have had to tell her anything. She saw us there. She looked right at us. And the sign said to wait there for assistance. Finally the other girl tells us to come to the counter. I tell her I have a Groupon and she scanned it from my phone. She asked us for shoes sizes. The smallest shoe size is 8 so my youngest one who will be 3, she wears size 6 but had to wear the 8 because that’s the smallest they had. The shoes were given to us wrapped up in a plastic bag so you can tell they had been cleaned. We go to lane 10 and get set up. The Groupon deal we had was for 2 hours up to 5 people, shoe rental and a large 1 topping pizza for $43.00. Not bad. I had requested to have the bumpers up for the first two names (the little ones) and I also requested the ramp so the little ones could use it when their turn was up. The pizza came out halfway through the first game and it wasn’t too bad. My husband purchased 3 small drinks and it was around $6 and some change. They had the families spread out. We didn’t have anyone at either side of us but then the next family was in lane 8 and we were in lane 10. The bathrooms were cleaned but the thing I found weird was that the stalls didn’t have a little trash can how most bathroom stalls have. We were there for almost 2 hours. We ended up leaving at the end of the last game and we have maybe 15-20 minute left but we were done. I do recommend this place and again when you see the outside, don’t let it fool you. They should really do something about the outside area.
