My family and I decided to drop in when we were visiting in 2017. From the moment we got there, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. A private tasting where we enjoyed their Amarone amongst other delicious reds, plus learning about the different wines from the region - it made us far more confident ordering off foreign wine menus for the rest of the trip! Carlo, you couldn't have given us a better experience, not only on the day, but three years later when I made an email request. We cannot wait until we can come back to Italy and visit and buy more wine off you! MUST DO if in the area.

It 'a journey through the history and the culture of wine and senses. By reservation only. The average duration is one hour and a half. The "process" consists of several stages: - The vineyards that produce our vinicon old forms and innovative viticulture; - The premises of drying with the typical arella - The cellar, along the way the birth of wine with long aging barrels for Amarone - The winery tasting of 1700 where our fathers vinify the "nectar" of the area - A tasting of some of our finest wines or older vintages side by side on request for a small snack consisting of local products.

My wife and I took a tour of this vineyard. Met by Alex as we arrived, who then gave us a very informative tour. It was great visiting a family run winery as opposed to one of the bigger commercial ones. This vineyard uses traditional methods and produces excellent wine. The wine tasting again was again informative and we purchased a few cases to be shipped to UK at very reasonable prices. Thanks Alex, and of course thanks to our tour guide, Sabrina! Highly recommended.

Possessioni Serego Alighieri

Serego Alighieri’s Possessioni have belonged to descendants of the Poet Dante since 1353. Visiting them is a dip into the history of a noble family that has passed down a passion for wine and the land for 21 generations. The tour includes the villa park, the vineyards, the ancient drying loft for grape appassimento, and the cherry-wood perfumed cellars. The experience concludes with a tasting of fine wines from the estate and across the Masi range. For almost fifty years, Masi has worked with the Counts Serego Alighieri in the production and distribution of their wines, which are available in the Shop inside the estate walls. Large, light-filled rooms look out over a courtyard, and are perfect for the hosting of events and conferences, while a professional kitchen is fitted out for interactive courses on the preparation of local foods and the right wine pairing with them.
