Tenedos (Greek: Τένεδος Tenedhos) or Bozcaada (Turkish: Bozcaada) is an island of Turkey in the northeastern part of the Aegean Sea. Administratively, the island constitutes the Bozcaada district of Çanakkale province. With an area of 39.9 km (15 sq mi) it is the third largest Turkish island after Imbros (Gökçeada) and Marmara. In 2011, the district had a population of 2,472. The main industries are tourism, wine production and fishing. The island has been famous for its grapes, wines and red poppies for centuries.

Before going to Bozcaada you should consider waiting at the ferry que in your car for 3 or 4 hours! But once you arrive the island you will see that it worths! You can experience wine tasting, fish and rakı, mezeses, perfect cookies. We were planing to stay for a night but we stayed for tree night, insted. You can drive or ride around the island and swim whereever you like. Go and experience the sunset at “ günbatımı”. You can take your wine and drink while waching the beautiful view.

It is the most popular beach site in the island. There are several facilities around, in other beach site, there is no facility. If you don't have your own beach umbrella and sunbed, folding chair, etc. you can rent at the beach.

The castle located in the center of Bozcaada and attracting you with its magnificent appearance while approaching Bozcada. It is surrounded by a moat on the other hand, which is leaning on one side to the sea, and you enter the castle by passing through a bridge over this moat. The entrance to the castle is paid and the museum card is not valid. The area of the castle is very large and you have a hard climbing and hiking.
