The idea of this day trip is to provide the best photo-shooting opportunities, so these 6 hours do not prioritize spending time in towns or visiting the churches but enjoy panoramas and beautiful wild nature of Montenegro. Visiting Budva Old Town, photo stops above the Jaz beach and St. Stefan island are most do in Budva Riviera. You will enjoy views of complete Boka bay, from the famous old road and 25 serpentines. Njegusi village is one of the original Montenegrin villages offering local food and homemade vine(optionally stop). RijekaPanoramic view over river Crnojevica will leave you without breath. This view is like from the postcards... You will enjoy the panoramic drive over Budva Riviera from where you can see the coastal area between St Stefan and the old town. We use one part of the lookouts to stop and enjoy the view.

I was absolutely shocked with the beauty of Boka bay once we started up the hill towards the old royal capital! Truly breathtaking! Our guide was amazing, and of course I use this opportunity to recommend Ana! The day was sunny, so warm, all in all great experience!

If you are a fan of the blue sea, medieval towns, gentle mountains all spiced up with good traditional cuisine then no doubt this tour is your best choice. Through centuries many empires came to Montenegro and many succeeded in conquering it. No wonder why there are still remains of different architectural styles standing today still. Cetinje, city-museum. Its the historical center of Montenegro. Njegusi village including famous 25 serpentines, we are going to the medieval town of Kotor. The views of Boka Bay from the road are amazing. Kotor old town, since 1979 the Kotor old town is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Budva old town is the simple must-see spot in Montenegro visited by all travelers but popular for locals too. Sveti Stefan, the former fishing village situated on a peninsula today is visited by Holywood stars and Royal families. On the way back via Brajici, you will see almost complete Budva Riviera and part of the Skadar Lake.

Durmitor National Park is very beautiful with its forests and crystal-clear Black Lake. Tara River is a wild beauty surrounded by steep slopes along the road. In autumn, leaves with variety of colors make the scenery much more amazing. Dimitrije took me to Žabljak and back, on this trip. He is a real professional. He is a careful driver and a good guide who is very attentive with his work. He was interested in every detail to make sure that I was comfortable. He also showed me the landmarks on the way and informed me about them. I'd like to thank him again, for his perfect service and company on this journey. I recommend Mont Travelers to everyone considering to travel Montenegro.

We were on Infinity of the Seas in September 2019 and were lucky enough to have Milo as our tour guide for our tour on September 13, 2019. He greeted us at the port and said "Surprise you get me as your tour guide", the four of us were so delighted. We had booked the 6 hour tour recommended for cruise passengers and it was excellent. We added the tour for our Lady of the Rock in Perast and it was wonderful. Milo gave us a private tour of the Church and explained the history of how it came to be. After this tour, Milo Popovic gave us a tour of the rest of Kotor with breathtaking views and explained the history of the Island to us. His knowledge was outstanding (he could be a history teacher). He also treated us to lunch at a hilltop restaurant. There were numerous stops along the way and Milo took great pictures of the 4 of us. It was a wonderful day, certainly one of the best we had. We highly recommend Tours of Milo and hope we have the opportunity to return to Kotor and would definitely do another tour with Milo Popovic

5. Vrmac hiking tour

MiS Travel Agency

Vrmac – Starting just from the Tivat city, 10 minutes drive from the hotels, we reach authentic Montenegrin village, at 300 metres above sea level, overlooking the bay and the coast. As soon as we start and pass through the village, we take the ascent on the old caravan road, hidden in the shade, and learn how it was built during the Austro – Hungarian reign, and how it was used to connect system of forts, barracks, and trenches on the top of the Vrmac ridge. Ultimate price of this tour is terrific view from the top, on both sides of the Boka bay – towards the ancient city of Kotor, hidden in the beautiful fjord, and towards the Tivat Riviera and open Adriatic sea on the southern side. While descending, we are taking gravel road through the forest and shade, until we reach abandoned fortress and barracks on the other end of the ridge. This place is ideal pick up point and opportunity for the snack/ lunch at the end of this popular hiking trail.

My family and I had 9 hours free time in port of Kotor, so we decided to take a further look at Boka Bay. We arranged travel agency by recommendation of our friend who has already visited Montenegro. Driver Marco picked us up in the port, and took us first in beautiful Perast, from where we had a quick boat tour to two small island in the middle of the Bay. Next location was breath taking Porto Montenegro, the new built exclusive place in Tivat. After that we retourned and spend some time in Kotor Old town. That was the best time spent to see more of that amazing county.
