I visited Crete for the first time this year. The purpose of my visit was to attend my sisters wedding. We stayed in a superb Airbnb in Limassol which was a few miles from We visited MakryGialos almost daily. The service around the tavernas were so welcoming, exceptionally clean and the food was good value for beach snacks and lunches. Dimitri was a perfect host. The beach was beautiful, the waters clear and shallow. Perfect place for family with small children or non swimmers who could happily float comfortably. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely visit again.
