San Diego embodies laid-back California culture, complete with a Boardwalk, surfing communities, and outstanding Mexican food. Breathe in the fresh ocean air at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, then gobble down a fresh fish taco at a La Jolla seafood joint. The naval aircrafts at the USS Midway Museum will have you standing at attention. Lots of fun shops, restaurants (large and small) and a general good ambience. Plan to just roam around a while.

We ate here twice and it was great both times. Plenty of places to park and eat. I'm Italian and I liked the food and I'm picky!! Fun area.

Barrio Logan

Reviewed By joo564 - Port Fairy, Australia

A humble place with a Big Chicano heart beat. So colourful and arty a must see in San Diego. Eat tacos at Salud or taste a Barrio dog there’s also a brewery and get an ice cream from the sweet paleta man pushing his cart through the park. The skatepark is under the bridge too. There are quite a few homeless around the park, but no more than anywhere else I’d seen. If you love old cars you’ll love the low riders cruising around or parking in Logan street.
