Senggigi Art Market

Reviewed By diana455611 - Eindhoven, The Netherlands

I can see where the previous reviews come from, but I really enjoyed my visit here. True, some shops have similar items, but I found some items I'm really happy with for such small prices and enjoyed getting to know the vendors. I bought one (really nice) patchwork pair of pants, some tops, couple of bracelets. They have heaps of clothing and sarongs, but also woodwork and stuff. The vendors: Especially the woman in the back, close to the restaurant 'The Office'. Her name is Njoman, she was patient, we had fun and she helped me. A guy in the beginning named Eddy was also really nice. He was very tired because of Ramadan and it was the end of the day, but we had a nice chat and in the end he gave me a bookmarker as 'aandenken' (a Dutch word he knew).
