5 Movie Theaters in Central Business District That You Shouldn't Miss

November 15, 2021 Emerita Lamoureux

Sydney offers plenty of historical and contemporary Australian flavor. The marvelous Sydney Opera House looks like a great origami sailboat, floating peacefully in a harbor. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of The Rocks and then take in a street performance on the Circular Quay before heading into the Museum of Contemporary Art. The views from the Sydney Tower Eye observatory are epic – use this chance to get to know the layout of the city from high above.

This was a very special night, sitting under the stars watching a great movie with the back drop of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We paid the extra to book the restaurant and our seats, well worth it. It was sereal not knowing what to watch the screen, the opera house or the possumns playing in the aisles. A Must Do

Dendy Cinemas Opera Quays

One of my favourite theatres, wonderful location at the Quay, you can combine a variety of activities, Opera House, dining, films etc. all in one day. Wonderful options of interesting, perhaps art-house, movies, so many you could easily watch. Loved Jo-Jo Rabbit, such a fascinating movie. Seats are very comfortable, so easy to sit back and relax. Very convenient for transport by the Circular Quay terminal for trains, ferries light rail and buses. So disappointed to hear the announcement that their lease has expired and they finish up in February. Heartfelt thanks also to the young English server who found my treasured cap that I left behind.
