Puerto Marina Benalmadena

Located on the Costa del Sol, has proven itself as being one of the top marinas in the world. With many restaurants, shopping, attractions and nightlife. It has won the award "Best Marina in the World' several times. The Marina of Benalmadena officially opened in 1979, with the name "Port au Prince" but in1982 was named Puerto Marina Benalmadena. The thing that really stands out about the marina is its unique architecture/design, which has lead to its international recognition especially with our European tourists. Puerto Marina has a huge capacity to moor boats and yachts, with just over 1,000 moorings for boats from many different nationalities. 'Puerto Marina' is one of the Costa del Sol's busiest centres. There are loads of different shops including the shopping centre. On top of it all there is a large choice of quality restaurants. You are spoiled for choice. Fancy a drink or a dance? Or how about hitting a nightclub or pub?

Puerto Banus Marina

Amazing place, I visited it 3 nights! Large area where you can walk by the sea with lot of fancy and -very-expensive restaurants restaurants, designer shops, coffer shops and clubs. The right place to see and be seen !!!!!! beautiful and well dressed people, many -super- yachts alongside, and of course the stunning sports cars: I've never seen so many Porches, Ferraris, Astons and Rolls in various colours. If you don;t want to eat or buy anything (I bought a disigner;s bag,I couldn;t resist) stop for a drink or just walk around and enjoy the sunset. It is very nice and amusing experience! It is not so far from city center. You can go by bus from city center and return by taxi, if it is late the night (the taxi costs around 15-16 euros, but if you are lucky in bus stop, maybe you can find someone to share the amount)!

The harbour and fishing port of Estepona retains its old world charm of a working fishing harbour and taught marina. There are numerous excellent and very good restaurants and cafes providing a wide variety of options for all tastes and budgets. There is no shopping as in nearby Puerto Banus but a great place to have a lovely meal or a coffee or cocktail watching the world go by. For those interested in the fishing industry you are able to do a guided tour of the fish auctions and learn about the work of the local fishermen and their catches, it is only €6 per person and gives an excellent insight to the fishing in the port and in the whole malaga region. The port is a short 15 minute walk to Estepona old town along the sea front and has a tourist market each Sunday morning. Well worth a visit.
