Reviewed By jkcheneyThis space is so tranquil and beautiful. The way it is tucked into the rainforest makes it feel magical. The staff are so friendly, the drinks are refreshing and the food is amazing. We felt so pampered and like we were in paradise. We LOVED Awa!!

Reviewed By elizabethpG7759KNFirst, they charged us for holiday week when the holiday is 10 days away. For the money, you can get MUCH better places closer to the town and activities. They do not include breakfast or coffee. This is a basic camp - bare minimum accommodations. I would not recommend.

Andrea and Mau (sp?), who manage reservations and reception, responded to ever need and request we had both pre-arrival and during our entire stay. They are the most gracious, accommodating and wonderful people. Selvin, Blanca, family and staff work tirelessly to ensure all their guests are comfortable and happy with their accommodations. The restaurant serves delicious, authentic Caribbean fare, Selvin's Rondon being the most famous and popular dish. I will never forget my experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for a completely relaxing and simple life-style away from the pressures and stresses back home.
