Murrays' Doonmore Hotel, the most westerly island hotel in Ireland, was built in 1969 and has been owned and managed by the Murray family ever since. We pride ourselves on our hands on approach to customer service so you will be dealing with a member of the family at most stages of your stay. We care about what we do because it is not just a job, it is our life. Our friendly staff are superbly trained and they know that our raison d'etre is to ensure that every customer, from a child ordering a hot chocolate to a group of adults staying for a week, deserves only the best service possible. Our hotel and bar food is famous for its freshly caught seafood and its consistently high quality and value for money. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and warm. The atmosphere is welcoming, homely and relaxed. It is no accident that we have a large percentage of repeat business stretching back to the early days. Never Fails to Delight
Reviewed By Italylover2013This is our fourth time visiting and we were so welcomed back into the arms of the Doonmore and honestly this grand dame never fails to exceed our expectations. After a prolonged absence due to Covid , music was back and wow ! What an emotional experience seeing this amazing place fully restored to its musical glory. Andrew, Donna, and all the staff make us feel so welcome and the sincere smiles , chats and laughs as well as the exceptional service truly elevate the spirit. Coupled with fantastic food and entertainment ( great weather too) this made for another memorable Boffin weekend. Friends were made and songs were sung late into the night. We slept so well , probably a combination of the comfortable beds, the fresh air and the craic in the evening. Being collected from the ferry and dropped back is a lovely touch but seeing Andrew waving from the dock until we disappeared made us feel as if we were leaving family. Booked again for same time next year. Roll on 2023.

We have been coming to Inishbofin for over 10yrs now, stayed in other hotels to begin with, but once we found the dolphin we never looked anywhere else. The most relaxing experience anyone could imagine.

Honeymoon return
Reviewed By declanjkennyWe returned to Bofin to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Loved our stay at Days. Great hospitality, lovely food, clean modern rooms. Perfect. The bar is part of the hotel/B&B and also serves tasty dinners, with friendly staff. Won't leave it as long next time for a visit!

Reviewed By USADIFNot bad but basic house. More like airbandb. Not much time as only staid 1 night,last minute decision and other places busy. Pub down by chapel is nice and closeby. Didn't see other places to eat but island looks nice from what we saw.

Reviewed By ashewood1We stayed here mid August for 2 nights (3 of us and a dog). Bedroom and bathroom were clean and pleasant. Lovely scenic location. Fantastic breakfast- Cathy would cook you what ever breakfast you wanted and the dog was treated like a king. Cathy also very kindly brought our bags down to the ferry for us. Would gladly stay here again.
