Cycling in Donegal

Though most days of our cycling tour we had fairly goodcweather, the day we arrived at Lisdanar house was full of showers. Soaked wet we were. But no bother. While we enjoyed a cup of hot tea, Rosalyn washed our clothes and even put our shors in the dryer. A comfortable, friendly place to stay with a good touch of Irish spirit!

What a fantastic stay we had with amazing Mary. I absolutely had a most enjoyable stay. Great location to base oneself for a getaway in west Donegal. Stunning scenery and just lovely chatty friendly people everywhere we went!! Mary recommended all the best places, from sites to see to restaurants, but to top it all it was the chats we had with Mary that made the whole experience special. Thank you Mary.

Stayed at Margarites b&b in Glenties for a few days, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed, breakfast is 1st class and well presented. Margarite is an extremely lovely lady and goes out of her way to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. I will definitely be returning the next time I visit Donegal. Glenties is an ideal place for visiting most areas of Donegal.

We spent 2 nights in Park View, very nice, cosy room, with tea and coffee making facilities. Full Irish breakfast was great, everything very tasty. Great choice of yoghurts, cereals, cornflakes and juices. Spotless clean, nice design of the rooms.
