No notice of pool closure
Reviewed By JWalkShoeWe decided to travel with my husband on this work trip, because this hotel has an indoor/outdoor pool. We planned to swim while he worked. However, to our disappointment, when we arrived, there was a sign on the door of the pool saying it was closed. There was absolutely no notice of this on the website or the ihg app. My kids were upset because there’s not much to do in Byram. Also, the breakfast attendant didn’t replenish any food for the last 40 minutes of breakfast this last sunday. We arrived 40 minutes before breakfast was over, and there was no bacon or sausage left. I thought surely they would bring more out, but no. Our room was clean and quiet, and overall this ihg hotel is a lot like the rest of them.

We had to leave our home due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ida and, by chance, came across WoodSpring Suites. From making a reservation and during our stay, going on our second week, everything has been wonderful. The staff is very polite and more than helpful, the rooms are clean, the price is amazing, and we are able to have our pets with us. The rooms have full-size refrigerators and two-burner stoves, so we can cook, keep groceries on hand, and make this our home away from home for a bit. The accommodations are suiting our needs at this time, and I could not be more thankful for WoodSpring Suites and their staff here in Byram.

Having 2 children 4 and under with me, this made it much more difficult as I had to go elsewhere to get them food and didn’t get to just clean them off in my hotel room before getting them dressed •no tissues in tissue box in the bathroom of our room… we were literally in town for a funeral. •dirty towel stuffed in hair dryer bag on back of bathroom door •old water in coffee pot •extra linens for sofa bed a big mess, looked dirty •after checking in, got a text saying “let us know if you need anything”.. requested more linens via text and never received linens nor a response •how is an entire exercise room “out of order?” • phone didn’t work. At all. •finally brought extra linens…. The second day, after asking again in person… and left the pile of dirty towels on the floor.. didn’t bring pillows •day 2, zero clean towels or wash cloths in my room.. asked the front desk clerk to send some up on our way to the pool while I was holding my baby, a toddler, floats, and a bag and she told me I’d have to take them up myself because she’s the only one here •the pool looked gross •toilet roll was 2/3 gone… aren’t they supposed to put a fresh roll out??

DIrty sheets, leaking bath tub and scary people
Reviewed By 767lukeWorst part was the dirty sheets, they had multiple holes and stains. I took them off the bed and used a sleeping bag. Shower also leaked and multiple people worth worrying about scattered the premises. Was worried my car would be broken into.
