Faethon Miniature Horses Farm

This place is not easy to find but it's a real gem! The staff look after these ponies and told us a lot about the history. They have saved them from extinction, thank God as they are such beautiful miniature ponies and well cared for. We left a donation as there was no entry fee.

Stegna Beach

Suitable for all ages with calm clear water there are 2 beaches though one more stony then the other. there are plenty of Tavernas, all serving seafood as well as greek traditional food, such a relaxing place to visit wathing the water activities, there is qne bus per day to Lindos or you can catch a ferry, I understand Pink Floyd bought a house in Lindos as they liked it so much and wrote one of their albums.

Olive Oil Factory

Reviewed By Charliebarns - Worthing, United Kingdom

We were instantly welcomed and Rian guided us through sampling all the different oils, olives, creams and soaps. She was very knowledgeable and made the information interesting, witty and accessible to us and our children- 15, 12 and 9. We were then given the opportunity to browse and buy any of the products but there was no pressure to buy. There was no entrance fee and the other staff made us feel welcome too by allowing the children to feed the horses and told them about the other nature we saw around us. We all really enjoyed the visit and were pleased to have bought several goodies to take home! Thank you Rian and others! I think we may even have taught Rian a new English word or two ????.
