Jemeluk Beach

Jemeluk Bay is incredible. There is amazing coral within a few meters of the beach - just walk in and start snorkelling. Lots of tropical fish. You do not need a boat so you decide when you go and finish. Re Since the beach is volcanic - black sand and lots of pebbles - recommend wear river shoes to protect the feet. Make sure you see the underwater temple, marked by a yellow flag

Lipah Beach

Reviewed By 478ab - Perth, Australia

We went snorkeling here and spent the day using the facilities at Vienna Beach Hotel. The sunbeds are for hire separately from the hotel. We could use the pool, toilets and showers at the hotel as well as getting our food and drinks from there. Snorkeling was great and a nice change having a sandy beach for a day instead of the stones at Amed.

Japanese Ship Wreck Point

Located very close to the shore, this its a fantastic dive site for divers of any ability. The site has amazing history. There are plenty of places nearby to hire gear if you need to. You do need to pay a small fee for parking but it is well worth it.
