Reviewed By JESSICA TWe had a great time there. We stayed in the Oca King and it's the best, specially if you like a little bit more of privacy. Staff is very friendly. Good breakfast. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. It's very easy to find.

Open to the public since the end of 2017, it was local to our home when we then decided to share with all our getaway. Located on the banks of the river Manacapuru and about 15 km from the city of Manacapuru-AM and 120 km from the city of Manaus-AM, it is perfect to get in touch with nature, observe birds, porpoises and wild animals that are always by near the property, without giving up comfort. Through a ladder, you have direct access to the river, you can bathe, fish or leave for the boat. Comfortable chalets that will make you "feel at home away from home", while we take care for you have, besides all the comfort, the peace and the connection with nature that you were looking for.

Reviewed By sherrywellsxoAn absolutely incredible experience at Alta Vista Amazon lodge, if you are thinking about staying here do it!! The package is truly all inclusive, from collection in Manaus and transfer to the lodge (approx 2 hours) all meals, drinks and trips into the jungle included. This place well and truly exceeded all of our expectations. We stayed the first night in a chalet and then 2 nights in the superior cabin. The chalets are cosy, clean and provide everything you need. The superior cabin is just breathtaking, there is only one available at the moment but i fully recommend staying in it if you can/if it’s available. Spacious with the most incredible view over the river. We opened the blinds and were watching dolphins from our bed. The balcony is also amazing where we also sat and watched dolphins and monkeys. Danilo was an incredible host, he took us out on the boat each day for the trips. The option was there to go out twice ( morning and afternoon) but also very relaxed and up to you if you want to do 1 or 2. We saw otters, cayman, sloths, dolphins, monkeys, iguanas, birds just to name a few and Danilo’s passion and love for the environment really shines through. The trips are non-intrusive to the animals and very natural in order not to disturb the animals. Danilo’s parents cooked the meals for us each day which were delicious. Home cooked local food with homemade juices and ice creams straight from the jungle each day! The experience was truly breathtaking, worth every penny and I would 100% recommend visiting if you are able to!

After loosing all of our luggage (fortunately) with nothing except 2 t-shirts and ... we enjoyed the time being reduced to the basics. No phone, no TV, no internet, only purely nature, nothing to loose, nothing to care about. Thank you for this opportunity. We surely come back sometime.
