There is so much to do here, I can’t list it all. Every time we come here we always have fun. Whether it is walking on the boardwalk in the marsh, walking to the tip of The Point, riding our bikes along the bike path, visiting the Visitor Center or playing on the beach, we ALWAYS Have a great time here. Our next activity (hopefully) will be to stay here overnight in one of their oTENTik structures.

Hillman Marsh Conservation Area

Came to hillman marsh on our first day of visiting Leamington and saw over 100 birds, many swallows, and shorebirds. A juvenile Bald Eagle swooped down over the water, many orioles, eastern kingbirds and a great view and boardwalk.

The beach and park is very well kept, not one piece of garbage anywhere. Beautiful beach with amazing views, sandy shallow beach, clean water, excellent for kids. Everybody keeps social distancing rules, never crowded. Amazing to spend a day with the family. Highly recommend!

Pelee Island Ferry

Reviewed By Kassie1605 - Mississauga, Canada

Very cool to be able to drive your car on a Ferry, very easy process. $32 For our mid size car and two of us each way. Took the 10am, lined up at 9 am and over to the Island around 11:15. With COVID the winery was closed. Recommend you take a picnic lunch and enjoy the view from the island. We found a little spot couple kilometers from Ferry at the end of think it was Bart road. Nice spot with a couple of picnic tables. We tried at one of the public beaches but too many flies, so you need to get an area that has a bit of wind. It may be the time of year. Because of this we didn't do the walk to the lighthouse. We really enjoyed it, maybe a bit boring for little kids, couple for sure, just looking at the farm land and driving the island was nice. We booked the 4:00 Ferry back, line up at 3:00, perfect amount of time. We stayed at the Sea Cliff Hotel right across from the Ferry dock which was really nice, check out the reviews.
