Make sure to stop in for great local tips on things to see and do. We met the lovely Kirstyn and she was so helpful in helping us navigate the next leg of our journey through to Mungo NP and on to Broken Hill. Can't wait to try out Bell's Cafe! Oh and she was spot on with recommending the Cafe next to the info centre!

Located 120kms north of mildura, this ex pastoral property is quiet an enjoyable National Park, with a great visitors centre, plenty of toilet and bbq facilities and even some rooms to stay. A loop track takes you around 70 odd kms, with stops along the way. $8.00 per vehicle unless you have a Parks Pass. Great story boards that explain the history of the place. We enjoyed our packed lunch at the Walls. And walked around the huge sand dunes. Allocate around 6 - 8 hours if travelling from mildura

So glad we came to visit yanga national park so much to see and learn about what happened on this land so many years ago .the homestead was absolutely amazing to have lived in it back in the day would have been quite a experience, the garden was so beautiful with roses which were named . Would highly recommend coming for a visit .

Balranald Discovery Centre is the home to our Visitor Information Centre, an Interpretive Centre, the old Balranald Lockup, Malcolm Building Museum and the old Wintong Station School. A great skatepark and playground for the children and a cafe onsite.

We were pleasantly surprised when we rolled up here to free camp in their back car park for caravans. They have an amazing dislplay of old local history , including an old jail and museum, plus toilet and showers , also a brilliant cafe on site as well and only a 3 minute walk into town. This place is so impressive we came twice in 21/2 weeks.
